Method 1: Use a combination of banana peel, chicken egg shell, rice water

This fertilizer will help add calcium from eggshells, vitamin B1 from rice water and some other intermediate and macro elements.

Preparation: 1kg banana peel (20-25 fruits), 0.5-1 liter rice water (depending on how thick you want), 200-300gr eggshell (10-12 fruits), 20g EM preparation, 20 gr Trichoderma antagonistic fungi. If you want solid organic fertilizer, you can add 2-5 kg of Namix vegetable soil (or 10-15kg of meat soil), blender. If you want a slightly diluted organic fertilizer, you don’t need it.

  • Step 1: Cut the banana peel into small pieces, crush the eggshell, then put it in the blender with the rice water and grind it into small pieces, no need to be too fine. If your blender can’t grind the eggshell, you can just grind the banana peel and crush it or crush the eggshell by hand as small as possible.
  • Step 2: Mix eggshells, banana peels, EM probiotics, trichoderma antagonists with Namix vegetable soil and then incubate for at least 1 month.

With this fertilizer, you should dilute the fertilizer for plants every 7 to 10 days. Note that when fertilizing seedlings, it is necessary to dilute to darken for the plants to get used to and avoid watering the leaves.

Method 2: How to make organic fertilizer from dried banana peels.

For plants that only need to add potassium and phosphorus to stimulate the flowering and fruiting process, it is more suitable for composting banana peels to make this fertilizer. This method is very simple, you just need to dry the banana peel in the sun or dry it at a temperature of 40-70oC until the banana peel is completely dry. Then puree this dried banana peel and sprinkle it on the canopy.

Method 3: Banana or banana peel and vinegar

This will make a dilute organic fertilizer. Vinegar will make the decomposition process of bananas take place faster, in addition, the smell of fermented bananas and the smell of vinegar will effectively repel insects.

  • Step 1: Prepare 2 bananas or 3 fresh banana peels, then wash, then cut the banana or banana peel; 500ml vinegar; 1 glass jar with tight lid.
  • Step 2: Mix the prepared ingredients in a glass jar and close the lid tightly to create an environment for the microflora to grow. Note: Every 2-3 days, you should open the lid once to let the steam out to avoid gas, compressing the air inside the bottle, causing an explosion or breaking the bottle.
  • Step 3: After about 15 days, you can water this solution for the plants and can add vinegar and banana peels to continue incubation.


Method 4: Banana/banana skin soaked in sugarcane juice/cane sugar

With this method, the potassium, phosphorus and minerals in the banana peel work better as well as create more nutrients thanks to the organic enzyme found in cane sugar.

Prepare; 2kg bananas or ripe banana peels, 650g cane sugar or 1 liter of sugarcane juice, for faster decomposition you can add EM or trichoderma antagonistic preparations if desired and 1 glass jar.

  • Step 1: Crush cane sugar then mix with 6.5 liters of water or mix 1 liter of sugarcane juice with 6 liters of water.
  • Step 2: Cut bananas or banana peels and then puree them, you can pour a little cane sugar solution in step 1 for easy blending.
  • Step 3: Mix the banana puree solution with cane sugar juice, you can add 2-3 tablespoons of EM rice and trichoderma if desired.
  • Step 4: Pour the finished solution into a glass jar and incubate for at least 1 month if EM or trichoderma is present, if not, it should be incubated for at least 3 months. Leave this compost jar in a low-light place or cover the jar with black plastic wrap, open the lid once every 3 days to deflate the air to avoid steam and explosion.

Method 5: Cook banana juice to make fertilizer

This way is quite simple and fast, does not need to take a long time to incubate because of the intervention by temperature. However, this fertilizer only provides the main source of Potassium and phosphorus, suitable for fertilizing flowers and fruit trees, the amount of nutrients may not be much in other ways due to too high heat impact.

Preparation: 2kg bananas or banana peels and 1.5 liters of water. Steps: Chop or puree 2kg bananas with water, Then pour the banana puree with water into the pot and boil for 5 minutes on high heat, then cook for another 25 minutes on low heat. Next, turn off the stove and keep the lid on so that the nutrients do not evaporate until the banana juice cools. Finally, you just need to pour this banana juice into a bottle, let it cool and take it out each time you fertilize the plant.

Method 6: Make banana juice by boiling method


It is the simplest and easiest way to do it. However, when boiling, some of the nutrients are lost. In addition, banana juice made by boiling must be stored in the refrigerator and used within 1-2 days.


* Prepare

– Ripe bananas: should take advantage of ripe bananas, ripe to black with the skin.

For orchids

Water the plants every 15-20 days and spray evenly on the surface of the substrate. For different purposes, the dilution ratio is different:

  • Periodic nutritional supplementation: dilute in the ratio of 1 liter of banana juice: 4 liters of clean water.
  • Stimulate rooting, prevent fungal diseases: dilute at the rate of 1 liter of banana juice + 10 grams of Trichoderma mushrooms + 4 liters of clean water.
  • Restoring sick and malnourished plants: dilute 1 liter of banana juice + 100ml of coconut water + 4 liters of clean water.

For the rose

  • Dilute banana juice with clean water in the ratio 1:10
  • Spray evenly on both surfaces of leaves, can water the stem and root of the rose. Spray periodically 1-2 weeks / time.
  • In the period of sprouting and budding, it is necessary to increase the dose of banana spray. To help flowers darken, long-lasting and standard form.

For other crops
